I will definitely add more notable characters to this list as I watch more of his work.

Bob's probably best known as the hardass, corrupt and evil warden in the movie Shawshank Redemption. A hypocrite, he quoted lines from the Bible and yet did devilish deeds in life. I believe the epitome of Norton's evilness was revealed when he had Billy killed. Billy was an inmate who knew of the TRUTH behind Andy's innocence. If you have seen the movie, then you know that the reason why Norton probably didn't want to set Andy free was because Andy was the one who was keeping record of Norton's dirty money.
Warden Norton finally met his end when Andy tipped the police of Norton's crimes in Shawshank Prison. Instead of giving himself up to the authorities, Warden Samuel Norton shot himself. Well, you can't really blame the guy. The prisoners would have made his life a living hell in Shawhank Prison if he ended up there.

Noah Taylor was the father of Deirdre Taylor and the um, other Taylor daughter. LOL! He appeared in 11 episodes of Desperate Housewives across seasons 1 and 2. A hardened and cranky old man, Noah wanted to uncover the truth behind Deirdre's disappearance. He was an incredibly rich person whose occupation/line of work was never revealed in the series. He could either be one of these though: An owner of a huge successful company/empire or some kind of a mafia boss. The 'some kind of a mafia boss' thing came to mind because of how Noah handled things 'unconventionally'. He would pay-off people to do his deeds, and he basically hired Mike to kill the person who killed his daughter. And seriously, he looked mean most of the time and his only living daughter hated his guts.
Anyway, Noah's the kind of character you could love and hate at the same time. You hate him, because he's not the nicest of persons. If you get in his way, he'd run you over if he had to. He can also be merciless and relentless. And yet in the scenes where he poured his heart out, you just can't help but sympathize with him. He was broken from the loss of his beloved daughter, and he hated the fact that he had worked so hard all his life just for his family to end up the way it did. In the end, you realize that he was just a guy who had grown tired of living the life he had lived. And the fact that he lost his favorite daughter just added to the burden.
Noah Taylor passed away when Zach, his grandson, unplugged his life support system. Zach wouldn't have done it, but Noah taunted him into doing it, telling Zach that a person had to had guts to run an empire like he did. A tragic character, if you ask me.

O M G! I LOVE Junction Jack! So cool and awesome with that attitude and ego. The guy knows how to kickass! Anywayz, Jack Mars was a Vietnam war veteran who is now working as Junction Jack in the kids show Sweetknuckle Junction. Though Jack portrays a wholesome and happy train engineer in the show, he's more of a character in real life. The REAL Jack likes to go shooting with his gun club buddies, hangin' out with the rest of the crew in the nearby bar, playing strip-poker with Count Blah, baking cupcakes, kicking other peoples' asses, and dressing up in women's clothing to improve his aim. And no, the last one wasn't a joke :P!
His childhood was rather tragic. Frankly put, his beautiful mother left him and his dad for one ugly puppet x.x! He even saw his mom 'doing it' with the ugly sock. Poor Jack :(! Still, Jack is cool! Despite the tough exterior, he also has a soft spot inside. There have been a number of times throughout the series where he showed deep and sincere concern towards his friends :). He was devastated at the death of Rochester, and though he never admitted it, he really does care for Greg :)! I love you, Jack! He's definitely one of my favorite Bob Gunton characters, hands down!
