About the Inspector
Inspector Finch, in the movie version of V for Vendetta, started out as a Chief Inspector of Norsefire, tasked to trace the steps of V, and uncover the man behind the mask. He is a noble and just man, trapped beneath the weight of the government he has to serve. But as the movie's events unfold, so does Finch's life...And he finally realizes that Norsefire's morality has crumbled to such an extent, that V may be in fact, the only savior who can give them their way out of Sutler's facsist rule, and into a world where there is freedom and truth.
